It's been a while.

It's been a while my family have been through the mill these last few months, I am getting back to making cards slowly, last night I watched a You Tube video of some beautiful flowers made with paper so I decided to have a go , I think they turned out ok.

It's challenge time again at Oh La La Creations and this time round it's flowers. I used one of our cd's Yesterday's memories to create this tag card and some flowers that I stamped out and coloured, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a go with our challenge.

Die holder

So I was getting fed up of trying to store my dies so I decided to make a storage unit for them, it has taken me 2 days and am now waiting for the handles to arrive but I am pleased with the way it turned out. There is plenty of room because of all the different sections I put in it , I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Sorry I am late putting up my card for Oh La La Creations challenge #anything goes I have had a house full this week family over but it's here, I used yesterday's memories cd to create this card and a tonic studio die to make the gates so an all round card thank you for looking I hope you like it.

Good morning this weeks challenge for Oh la la creations is Landscapes so I decided to use a Christmas scene, the weather has been so hot I thought a little cool down was needed, enjoy the challenge and can't wait to see what you come up with.This scene was taken from the Christmas present cd from Oh La La Creations.

On a roll

The classic rose again this time in a traditional colour then I made a fold out card and used a tonic die to shape the top of each fold.

Christmas is coming.

It's been a while since I have posted , long story but looking forward now, my son has been to hell and back but slowly he is on the mend. So it has been a while since I had my crafting head on but today I came up with this Christmas card, the flowers are made from Heart Felt creations and I am loving them, I have the stamp and die set of Classic rose.

Birthday card #Challenge 226.

It's a bit late posting this card for the Oh La La challenge #226 birthday, I love as you have probably noticed making cards that are different in shape, so this time I decided to fold over the corner. I used the cd "Yesterday's memories" for the main topper and backing papers I also used a matching insert that I cropped to fit.

A little picture

So last night I decided to do something different, I got my Tim Holtz distress inks out and did a water colour, using a couple of Magnolia stamps, then this morning I made the frame, I just need to hang it now.

House of Mouse.

Who doesn't love the house of mouse collections by Joanna Sheene, this card is for a friends birthday as she loves drinking coffee and it's only a 6x6 makes a change from making the usual 5x7 size.

Spring is in the air.

Spring is in the air , this card is created from the Oh la La Creations cd Shawn Jenkins. I printed the image out 3 times so I could decoupage the flowers and printed out the butterflies from the same cd. Then I created a frame and backed it twith foam pads to give the image some depth, then applied the butterflies and an image of tulips that I fussy cut, so there is quite a lot of fussy cutting .

Birthday card.

So I had to make a card for a friend she wanted flowers and butterflies. this is from the Oh La La
Creations cd yesterdays memories.I decoupaged it and added some fern leaves from my die collection,I hope she likes it.

weekend make

 So when the weather is naff outside there is nothing better than a bit of craft. I made this box from
card it's8x6x3 and decorated in papers from a 12x12 pad then I covered it in bits .the flower I made
a while ago.

The inside is plain now I just have to fill it that won't be difficult.The paper pad is from Craft sensations and is only 1.99 euros of which I have loads.

Mother's Day

It won't be long till it's mother's day so I thought I would get a head start, this is the first one,
using  Manolia stamp that I coloured using water colour pencils and a brush for a change, Then
I used some crystal lacquer to make the hearts shiny, It is only a 6x6 card but it looks cute.

Latest album

 This is my latest album inspired by Heartfelt creations, it's 7x9 inches with a 4inch spine.

 The flowers are made from paper and some flower dies then coloued with Tim Holtz distress inks.

 There is so much room for photos and journaling.

 This is Challenge #223 for http://www.ooh-la-la-creations.com , the challenge is embossing.
I printed out the flowers from the Fleur D'imagination cd .

The flowers have been embossed to give them a bit of lift rather than being just flat,then just added some ribbon.

Gorjuss

Today's make a birthday card using a Gorjuss stamp and a different style shaped card.

Something different

 This is out of my comfort zone but I like the way it turned out, a journal cover.I used some flowers
and little wooden bugs, a bumble bee and dragon fly. also found a small frame. I made the covers
from card stuck the bits on including some lace then covered them in tissue using lots of glue,

Then I left it to dry before covering it in black acrylic paint. Left that to dry then I used some
metallic lustre .

Anything goes

This card is made using a magnolia stamp and some flowers I made from paper using
some dies and colouring them with Tim Holtz distress inks.

House of Mice

I have just been looking threw Joanna Sheens on line shop and have ordered
a House of Mouse cd rom, I love those little mice so I can't wait for it to arrive.
If this foggy weather keeps up I shall be able to craft away all day, hurry up
mrs post lady, by the way the picture is of a beautiful medieval church that is in our local
village,

#222 challenge for Oh La La Creations.

                Morning all so here is my first card for  Oh La La Creations
                challenge #222  The brief was die cutting so I printed off a couple of 
                 sheets  from the all occasions  cd and die cut a bow some flowers,
                 a happy birthday  message and the bunting  to make a little girl 
                                     

Morning all It's a bit foggy outside today, has anyone seen our lake? The sun has a lot of work to do.

Valentine Day

Morning all and Happy Valentines day I thought I would share this Valentines card I made for the other half a few years ago, bright and cheerful, I even made the flowers .

Dt member

OMG I have been accepted as a Dt member for Oh La La Creations,so excited and nervous at the same time, watch this space to see what I have to create.

Valentine tag.

 Thought I would have a go at a Valentine tag, this is how it started thinking of using a magnolia stamp on there to.

 Decided not to use the stamp, using distress ink I added some crackle look and hearts with stencils to the back ground.

 nearly there just adding my hand made flowers , lace hearts and a ticket I found in my stash.

I am quiet pleased with how it turned out.

This is the view from my patio window (in the summer time) , I live right next to our carp lake, the view outside today looks a lot different it's freezing, roll on summer so I have a good excuse to sit indoors and craft. It has been 6 years in April that we have lived here in France and it doesn't get much better although I do miss my family and friends.

I have had a PJ day today as it's so cold outside and have spent most of the day creating these flowers, using some flower dies and my pro markers to colour them they will be going into an album I am making.

pop out card

This little 6x6 valentine card is made using Nitwit fuzzies collection.that I downloaded from their site and used a pop out template, a little fiddly but fun to make.

Here are some tags I made for a friend, usingsome Crafters Companion stamps that I hand coloured using pro markers and then added some punched holly leaves and snow flakes.
